Two of Oslo's leading nightlife operators, byOSLO and Skagstindgruppen, have come together to bring something exciting to the city. The venue is currently under construction, and the opening date is set. In September, BOX - Frogner's brand new sports bar - will open, offering not only football and other sports highlights, but also nightlife, private events, and entertainment all under one roof.
BOX features three bars, large lounge areas, a stage for cultural and musical entertainment, and a charming rooftop terrace for warm summer days. Here you will find a wide and high-quality selection of drinks, excellent service, and a great atmosphere – all in stylish and modern surroundings. Much effort and love have gone into creating this concept, and now the fun really begins. The doors open in September, and we are looking for a team who wants to contribute to the ongoing work and together create a unique meeting place at Solli plass.
BARTENDER & BARBACK / BAR STAFF
Looking for a dynamic and social workplace? Are you efficient, attentive, and positive?
Box is seeking professional, positive bartenders with ambition and a sense of responsibility. You are structured, disciplined, technically skilled, solution-oriented, quality-conscious, and have an eye for aesthetics and detail. An interest in sports is a bonus.
We are also looking for responsible and organized individuals to work as barbacks at BOX on weekends and as needed. You must be highly service-minded and prepared to work evenings/nights. Fluency in a Scandinavian language or proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
Qualifications Bartender:
Must be at least 20 years old.
Bartending experience from a bar or nightclub is an advantage.
Initiative and the ability to work independently and structured.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
An above-average interest in bar operations and financial awareness.
Creative thinking and ability to see opportunities.
Experience working with people and understanding the importance of good service at all levels.
Enjoy working in a team.
Advantageous to have completed the Salut course or alcohol license test.
Qualifications Barback:
Must be at least 20 years old.
Work experience from a restaurant or bar is an advantage.
Must be fluent in a Scandinavian language and English.
Advantageous to have completed the Salut course.
